What is SLUZZLE?

Sluzzle is a self-guided online sleep course created with UK Clinical Psychologists, drawing on ACT and CFT-informed approaches. It’s designed for people who feel stuck in the sleep struggle, especially when the usual sleep hygiene tips and routine guidelines haven't really helped.

It may be useful for people who would benefit from accessible, skills-based guidance alongside or outside of therapy.

  • Led by UK Clinical Psychologists
    ACT and CFT-informed guidance
  • Focuses on changing your relationship with sleep, not chasing “perfect sleep”
  • No gadgets, pills, tracking or rigid sleep rules
  • Not another app
  • Designed to be worked through once, over a couple of months.
  • Free first step available with no sign-up required

Transparency Note: We love SLUZZLE, but you should know we're not entirely objective. Compassionate Change Ltd's Dr Shelley Kerr contributed her expertise to the program and receives a share of sales. We only recommend resources we truly believe in, but we want to ensure you have all the facts.

RESTT: A framework for bringing compassion to your sleep struggles

When we're bringing a Compassion Focused approach to sleep difficulties, there are five steps to take:

RESTT an acronym to remember the five steps of being compassionate for sleep struggles: Recognise struggles, Embody compassion, Settle in your senses, Talk kindly to yourself, Take wise action.

In Shelley's chapter of SLUZZLE you'll be guided through each of these steps so you can embody a compassionate approach to your own struggles.
